You know the drill when traveling for a long time: you make great plans that "tomorrow I will wake up early and conquer this place". But it has been 3 weeks already and all you would like to do is a bit of sleeping.
THE PLAN To get to the war memorial and watch the celebration of 60 years since the armistice with North Korea.
THE RESULT For some weird reason my pillow wrestled me to stay in bed and I obeyed. We arrived when the celebrations had ended but still got to go around the place.
I am not big in these military parades and army paraphernalia but would have been dandy to see the celebrations of a war that still brings so much grief and paranoia to the country.
